Compressor fridge, Dometic or Novacool?

The 3 way in my Northstar appears to be dead. Looking to replace it with a compressor fridge. Any differences between the Dometic and Novacool units? I believe those both use the same compressor. Similar efficiency? Experience with either?

Mixing tie down systems

Does anyone see a problem with using Torklift mounts on the front and Happijac bumper buttons on the rear? Truck is a 1995 F350 crewcab dually. I'm guessing the truck is old enough to have the "good" bumpers.
