I would like to put a 30 amp RV plug on my garage. The service pole is about 80 feet from the garage. I was wondering was size wire I will need to support 30 amp service.

adding an outdoor shower

I'd like to add an outdoor shower to my TT, it did not come with one. Anyone who has done it, is it terribly difficult, what were some hiccups on the install? I think it'd be pretty close to my water pump and hot water heater. Is it pretty much jus...

Added 12V USB outlets

Finally pulled the trigger and ordered some. USB outlets were like $9 or $10 each on amazon. The 4 port gettup was about $22 complete. I butchered the wood a little in process so I will need to clean that one up. The 3 under the radio went in no ...

Sirius radio antenna relocation

I have a 2017 F450 with a 2001 Fleetwood Elkhorn slide-in installed. I'm sure you guys have had the problem of blocking the Sirius antenna. I relocated to a new antenna mounted on the front grill and the top is about level with the hood. Antenna w...

Will this combo work?

We were thinking of getting a 2017 4WD Ford Explorer with the 3.5l V6 (not the twin turbo) and Class III towing package to pull a Winnebago Micro Mini 1700BH. But then I started reading around on here. The TT has a dry weight of 3000# and GVWR of 380...

Micro Lite by Flagstaff -- 25BRDS

Anyone have a Micro Lite or the model shown in the subject? We are going to view one in Iowa (cheyenne camping center) on Saturday. I like the fact its aluminum framed, wired for solar, and not over 30 foot (so we can park it at home). I've visite...

Thanks

Just read a post in Campfire lamenting that few ever came back to let advisors know what worked and whether it helped. I'm probably a bit guilty of that. So.. for all the years that you all have helped me with my 2004 Silverado LT3 1500...which now...

Is it always something?

Three weeks ago the awning filled up with rain and an arm broke. Expensive fix. Thankfully is wasn't worse and no one got hurt. Two weeks ago I couldn't close the black tank valve. Stuck a stick up there and fished around and pulled a chunk of thin ...

Cummins questions

I picked up my TT today, pulled some pretty good hills, let truck do its thing. Didn't push it. The temp would go past just 200 degrees. It was 92 outside temp. I am guessing this is normal as the temp would go back to just before 2000. This is the fir...

1999 Terry Ultralite 25R Lift

I am looking to lift my trailer. Right now it has maybe 6" of ground clearance and I have bottomed out way too many times. This last time I damaged the back end pretty good. Anyways, this trailer has a torsion type axle, which I have never worked wit...

Noob question regarding slide-in campers /trucks

I was looking at the larger Eagle Cap (1165, 1200) offerings and the 1200 says it requires a 1-ton, long bed dually to haul it around. I think I understood most of that (assuming 8' counts as a "long bed").What I'm not clear on is "Does the cab size ...

My TC is going to be used off truck for an extended period of time. I'm talking weeks. There is potential for higher winds and less movement would make DW more comfortable.I was trying to look at previous threads, but of course, pics are missing fr...

Hensley / Propride safety chain option

I was of course using chains from trailer to hitch but grew tired of trying to get the chains to the perfect length. Owners know the hitch head moves side to side taking the chains with it and the length required is already longer than any other typi...
