Bump Outs

I have a new Winnebago One that has bump outs and wondered if it was a good thing to leave the bump outs extended for long periods such as storing it for the winter. I have the TT here at home and can do this but was curious. Thanks

new ac unit

I just installed an ac unit and am trying it out to make sure it is working properly. The compressor doesnt seem to be coming on. Now the degrees here is currently 55.f so could this be why it doesnt kick in??

Extra wiring color?
