Tie downs?

Can someone explain why I see some trucks with tie downs mounted directly to the frame and others to the bumper and behind the cab? I'm not sure if it is just preference or the what kind of camper/ truck dictates. Thanks

Water heater fill issue-valve issue?

Looking for ideas...after we de-winterized, it seems like our water heater will not fill without having the bypass valve open. I'm suspecting that I have a valve that is not turning (even though the knob turns), as the water heater is heating fine. ...

Rough ride with Timbrens and Rancho 9000xls

So I thought it would be a good idea to put Timbrens on my truck. The Lance 1055 camper is tall and a bit top heavy. It didn't ride bad or sway badly, but I thought that this would help for stability. And they do! No sway or roll, however now it s...
